A Better Life
bloo was founded to help people around the world improve their lives.
When your vision is impaired it impacts almost every aspect of daily living – skewed depth perception, poor sensory input and incomplete brain information.
Sensory integration is not only possible, but also easy to achieve – if you know what to do.
Unfortunately, most people are not aware of the brain’s role in visual perception. For instance, doctors may simply prescribe eye patching to strengthen your child’s lazy eye.
Our Discovery
As a parent, I sought out additional information when eye patching was not as effective as I had hoped.
When I found out about binocular training, the doctor was very enthusiastic and said that of course binocular training would be helpful, and we should try it.
Binocular training is more effective than patching; I was frustrated that it wasn’t offered from the beginning. We patched my son’s eye for a year and half before stumbling on binocular training. In less than a month, we’ve had more success with binocular visual training than a year and a half of eye patching.
Benefits of Binocular training
It turns out that binocular training can help with multitudes of sensory processing issues.
From autism to dyslexia, the brain and its sensory input integration are central to optimal function. bloo can help. In fact, one of bloo’s key partners/ board members is leading the way in treating sensory processing disorders and people with autism through visual training.
See our studies page for specific examples of how visual training has phenomenally impacted the lives of Dr. Ian Jordan’s patients.
“
bloo’s mission is to improve the quality of life of people suffering from poor sensory input.
We strive to optimize your daily experience through improved sensory processing.
